In the aftermath of a large crowd attending the Johnson County School District Trustee meeting on Monday, Superintendent Dr. Gerry Chase is certain that all eyes appear to be on the state legislature’s deliberation on the school funding issue.
Chase told Big Horn Mountain Radio that HB236 appears to provide greater flexibility for school districts in handling the cuts that are sure to be mandated…
Chase went on to say that the continued debate over school funding deficit is adversely impacting the classrooms…
A recent survey conducted by the school district indicated that most respondents disagreed with educational funding cuts in general and class sizes should be restricted to high school classrooms.
