Graveside services for Georgie James, 73 year old Buffalo resident who entered the gates of Heaven Sunday, after a long illness, will be held Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo, with Pastor Clay Alexander officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Donations in Georgie’s memory may be made to the Georgie James memorial to help the family defray expenses in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Georgie was born December 27, 1942 in Buffalo to Harry and Mabel Brown. She was the fifth in line of eight children. Georgie grew up and attended the Buffalo schools. She married Ed James on June 16, 1962 in Buffalo, Wyoming and they made their home here. She loved going to the mountains, fishing, and being with her family. She loved her family unconditionally, and was committed to their happiness. She babysat several children in her home for many years, and after raising her own three boys she joined the outside world working as a cook at various establishments and in the dietician and laundry service department at the Johnson County Healthcare Center.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ed James; her three devoted sons, Norlan “Nick” Zeitner and his wife Cody of Salem, Oregon; Brian James and his wife Michelle of Saford, Arizona; and Marvin James and his wife Lin of Gillette, Wyoming; brother Robert Brown and his wife Carla of Lusk, Wyoming; sister Joyce Gallant and her husband Bill of Buffalo, Wyoming; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Georgie was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Mabel Brown, three brothers, Harold, Wayne, Bill, and Glen; and one sister, June.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Billings Clinic ICU.
