Funeral services for Bruce Fink, 66 year old Buffalo resident who passed away Tuesday at the Johnson County Healthcare Center in Buffalo, will be held Tuesday, November 27th at 10:00 a.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor Don Paulson officiating. Visitation will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. A private family interment will be held later. Donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to the Wyoming Ground Water Association Scholarship in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Adams in Buffalo. Bruce Melvin Fink was born on February 16, 1952 in Casper, Wyoming to Garrell and Margaret Fink. He went to school in Casper until the 10th grade, when the family moved to Nederland, Texas where he graduated from Nederland High School with the class of 1970. After high school he moved back to Wyoming where he worked at various jobs. He was a carpenter at Teton Homes in Casper when he met Teresa Sutton and they were married on September 24, 1977 in Mills, Wyoming. Bruce and Teresa made their home in Casper where he worked for Scinti-log, a Geophysical Company. They moved to Louisburg, Kansas where they lived for five years still working for Mid-west Logging. In 1988 they moved to Buffalo and Bruce worked for Century Geophysical. In 1993 Bruce and Teresa started Clear Creek Well Service which they owned and operated until 2014. Teresa passed away in September of 2014 and Bruce continued living in Buffalo until his death.
He was a member of the Big Horn Baptist Church, the Wyoming Ground Water Association and was a Lifetime Member of the NRA.
Bruce is survived by one son, Adam Fink and his wife Cammy of Sheridan; two daughters Peggy Fink of Story and Tarah Fink of Buffalo; one brother Wayne Fink of Sheridan; four sisters, Shirley Boren of Temecula, California, Helen Schindler and her husband Ron of Scottsdale, Arizona, Karen Moore of Buffalo and Kathy Dolechek and her husband Ray also of Buffalo; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
