The Buffalo City Council voted to accept four bids received by the Buffalo Police Department for a patrol vehicle, equipment, radios and a new 911 phone system for the justice center.

Presented to the council by Police Chief Jason Carder, the four bids accepted were:

–a bid of $24,600 from Spradley/Barr Motors of Cheyenne for a 2017 Ford F150 pickup.

–A bid of slightly more than $11,500 from Wireless Advanced Communications of Casper to outfit the new vehicle with necessary equipment for the patrol vehicle.

–A bid of nearly $17,000 for four mobile and portable radios from CommTech.

–a bid of just under $144,000 from Venture Technologies for the new 911 phone system for the justice center’s dispatch unit.

Funding for the CommTech and Venture Technologies purchases will come from a Homeland Security Grant.
