Campus Concealed Carry Bill Passes House

The Wyoming House of Representatives will be considering controversial concealed carry legislation as early as this afternoon.
According to Representative Mike Madden, the bill if passed would allow concealed carry of handguns on college campuses throughout the state.
Madden has received his share of comments on the upcoming legislation…

Supporters of HB 136said it would help gun owners better protect themselves and others, specifically in the case of an active shooter.
Should the bill pass through the House, Madden says that similar bills have had difficulty passing the scrutiny of the Senate…

University of Wyoming President Laurie Nichols opposes the bill and has suggested there are other ways of providing adequate campus safety.
