JOCO First’s CEO Dave Simonsen, while still hopeful for Interapt’s software coding program coming to Buffalo, is expressing frustration over falling out of first place in the company’s expansion plans…

Considering the fact that all the state’s criteria for economic diversity and potential job growth appears to support Interapt’s expansion to Buffalo, the Governor’s ENDOW initiative has been slow in offering financial backing.

Simonsen blames the delay in the “newness” of the process…

Interapt is seeking a major portion of the funding necessary to making the coding program a reality from the Governor’s Economically Needed Diversity Options for Wyoming.

However, Simonsen still sees Wyoming lacking in two major areas critical to economic development… a trained and available workforce.
