The omnibus education funding bill is now available for review on the Wyoming Legislature’s website.
House Bill 236, nicknamed the “5-80” bill, is perceived to be the solution to the $400 million shortfall in education funding for the next biennium.
The bill is 54 pages in length and includes five separate funding components with each one seeking to reduce the deficit by $80 million.

Next week’s Committee hearings on the bill are scheduled for the Cheyenne East High School Auditorium as they expect a larger than normal public attendance.
