Helen Turley Weisz, 91, of Sheridan, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at Sheridan Manor.  She was born May 4, 1927 in Fort Bend, Missouri to Henry and Bernice (Woodard) Varney.  Helen was raised on a ranch in Birney, Montana where she enjoyed riding horses.

After divorcing Ross Turley, Jr. she worked at the Birney Cash Store.  Later, she worked as a retail salesperson.  Helen married the love of her life, Ferdy Weisz.  She liked staying home and being a housewife.  Helen was an avid baker, almost professional.  She also, enjoyed playing cards, doing jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles and reading.  Helen loved baseball games and was an immaculate housekeeper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ferdy, brother, Hal Varney, sister, Dorothy Jane Kloepper, infant son, Mark Turley and son, Jonathon Turley.  Helen is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Alan J.) Kobielusz; grandsons, Dwayne (Amy) Kobielusz, Kevin (Dimitry) Kobielusz, and Jonathon Turley II; and granddaughter, Krista Kelly; and three great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018 at Champion Funeral Home with Pastor Tri Robinson officiating.  A reception will immediately follow at Champion Funeral Home.  Interment will be held in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter, 84 East Ridge Rd., Sheridan, WY  82801.  Online condolences may be written at www.championfh.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Champion Funeral Home.
