Chris Yager, the parole and probation officer accused of felony sexual assault as detailed in a story released Friday, was in court Tuesday afternoon for a brief hearing. Yager's attorney Kevin Kessner, and County Attorney Matt Redle agreed to a $10,000 unsecured bond for Yager, provided he makes himself available at the detention center. Yager must get finger printed and checked into the system. He was also advised by Judge Shelley Cundiff to not have any contact with the victim in the case. BHMR is withholding her name. Yager signed the bond and was escorted out of Circuit Court with his lawyer. When Yager is due back in court is not known at this time. An unsecured bond means the defendant, Yager, is liable for a breach of the bond’s conditions. An unsecured bail does not require the money to be offered up front.
