The Ash Creek/Taylor Creek Fire in south central Montana burned over 300,000 acres, destroying dozens of structures and pastureland. The fire also took the lives of livestock. Support for those who lost in the fire is coming from Sheridan in the form of a benefit concert on August 8th. Teka Brock, Jarod Judd, and Gary Small all stopped by the studio to tell us more about the concert. Brock explains the origin of the idea...
Fifteen bands will be performing during the event, which will be held at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds at 5 pm.
Small says as far as food and other items, the Boy Scouts have been a great help, as have the donations from Bethesda Worship Center and First Interstate Bank...
Brock says they'll have two stages during the event, with music from 5 pm until late into the evening. There will be a silent auction, and many great prizes. We'll have more regarding the benefit on a later newscast. Image below (L-R) Teka Brock, Jarod Judd, Gary Small.
