RENEW Receives CARF Accreditation

renewlogoRENEW (Rehabilitation Enterprises of North Eastern Wyoming) President and CEO Larry Samson recently received the CARF report for the organization, and he couldn't be happier. Samson says CARF, or Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, validates the extreme professionalism and integrity of the organization....

Samson sent an email to the 150 employees of RENEW, stating he is very pleased. It is the highest award CARF can "bestow" on the organization. The three person survey team from CARF had considerable praise for RENEW and its ability to provide a high level of service to “a challenging population” in difficult times, according to a release from the organization.

Founded in 1972, RENEW is a non-profit organization providing services to persons with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries . It’s headquartered in Sheridan and has both service centers and participant homes in Sheridan, Gillette and Newcastle.

CARF International was founded in 1966 as an independent, non-profit accreditor of health and human services and currently accredits more than 48,000 programs and services in 19 countries.
