It was Healthy Kids day on Saturday at the Johnson County Family YMCA.
Literally hundreds of Buffalo and Johnson County youth enjoyed fun and games in the Y’s gymnasium as well as getting a firsthand look at equipment used by the ambulance service, fire department, search & rescue, and local law enforcement.
According to the YMCA, Healthy Kids Day is a great opportunity to educate families and motivate kids to stay active in spirit, mind and body throughout the summer ahead.
