A celebration of the life of John Strandwitz, 40-year-old Buffalo man who passed away Thursday at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper following a short illness will be held Friday, November 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel.  Donations in John’s memory may be made to the Occidental Jam Music Scholarship Fund in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. John Thomas Strandwitz was born Sept 6, 1977 in Stratford, New Jersey to John Strandwitz II and Kim Strandwitz. After attending school in Buffalo, WY, John pursued his passions in music and art, performing in numerous bands and teaching guitar lessons. John’s life was filled with love and laughter, his happiest times spent with his nieces and nephews.

John is survived by his mother Kim Parncutt of Buffalo; six sisters, Dorothy Strandwitz, Bethany Strandwitz both of Buffalo, Holly Richardson and her husband Brandon of Sisters, Oregon, Lynn Leetch and her husband Killian of Sheridan, Wyoming, Jamie Strandwitz of Columbia Falls, Montana and Shannon Strandwitz also of Buffalo; one brother Aidan Moye of Sheridan; two nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
