The Wyoming State Legislature’s joint revenue committee met in Thermopolis last week and a wide array of ways to generate tax dollars for the state were discussed.

According to State Representative Mike Madden, who serves as chairman of the committee, the group focused on a document that was generated around the turn of the current century…

Another meeting of the revenue committee will be held November 7th and 8th in Cheyenne and the revenue ideas to be discussed include the state fuel tax, taxes on alcohol and cigarettes, property taxes, and broadening the sales tax.
