Funeral services for Marie Hodson, 89 year old Buffalo resident who passed away Tuesday at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, Wyoming, will be held Tuesday, December 5th at 2:00p.m. from the Ballard Funeral Home in Cody, Wyoming. Donations in Mrs. Hodson’s memory may be made to the Amie Holt Care Center in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N. Grace Marie LeMaster was born on August 15, 1928, in Midwest, Wyoming to William and Virginia LeMaster. She grew up in Burlington, Wyoming where she graduated from Burlington High School in 1946. After high school she worked in Basin, Wyoming where she worked for the Kinghorns. She married Al Hodson December 24, 1947 and they made their home on Emblem Bench. They later moved to Cody where she worked for the Bureau of Reclamation, Husky Oil, and for many years as a legal secretary for Goppert and Fitzstephens Law Firm. With her family they ran the Cody Night Rodeo starting in 1956 until 1968. Together they raised four children in Cody that were all active in rodeo. Following her divorce, she remained in Cody till she retired at age 70. She then made her residence in Sheridan, Wyoming to be closer to her family. The last few years she lived in Buffalo; moving to Amie Holt Care Center last August. Her family was her driving force throughout her life.

She is survived by her three daughters, Carolyn Byrd and her husband Tom of Sheridan; Pam Sperry and her husband Mike of Cody; and Jackie Lobdell and her husband Greg of Buffalo; one son, Alan Hodson of Burbank, California; five grandchildren, Rodney and Jeff Preator; Michelle Luoma; Chad Lobdell; Lacy Jenkins; and five great-grandchildren, Morgan Preator, Olivia and Jayden Jedkins, and Paul and Daniel Lobdell.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Morris and Raymond LeMaster, and one sister, Vera Renner.
