Robert “Bob” Addison Kauffman, 97, of Sheridan, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at Sheridan Manor. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
He was born October 15, 1919 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Clifford and Rowena Kauffman.
In 1947, Bob married Dolores Orr in Ottumwa, IA. They moved to Sheridan, WY where Bob owned and operated a credit bureau in Sheridan and Gillette for many years. After retirement, he went to work at Sheridan Memorial Hospital.
Bob was a member of Masonic Lodge #14, Eastern Star, and Kalif Shrine. He was also, a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and the theatre guild.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores on June 17, 1994 and his aunt, Louise (Homer) Harris of Sheridan. He is survived by his children, Steve (Ranae) Kauffman of Scottsdale, AZ and Rebecca Kauffman (Larry) Fisher of Sheridan; grandchildren, Jason Kenney and Amanda (Bill) Amen; soon to be born great granddaughter, Addison Amen; and
sister-in-law, Margaret Robertson of Ottumwa, IA.
Memorials to honor Bob may be made to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter, 84 E. Ridge Rd., Sheridan, WY 82801.
