Roger Norman Reese, 80, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital. He was born March 25, 1937, in Sheridan to parents Norman and Gertrude (Olsen) Reese.
Roger served in the US Navy and was an Air Traffic Controller by trade and later retired from that job. He attended Sheridan College for two years. He married Regina Marie Wiberg in Las Vegas, NV and it was later Blessed in the church. After retiring, Roger and Gina built a fabulous house for their retirement in Sheridan, and soon Roger went to work for IML and loved it. He left there in January 2016.
Roger enjoyed reading, traveling, drawing house plans, flying airplanes, working with his hands. He supported his children in all activities such as Scouts, 4H, Cross Country, and horse shows.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Gina of Sheridan, children, Pamela (Heidi) Reese Anderson of Van Nuys, CA, Patricia (Eric) Kelly of Palmdale, CA, Michael (Heidi) Reese of Yuma, AZ, Janet (Stayce) Roberts of Valencia, CA, five grandchildren, Kenderick Kelly, Kaylyn Kelly, Karissa Kelly, Kimberly Upchurch, Kyle Upchurch, great grandchildren, Khloe Lopez, Kane Lopez and Lucas Upchurch.
A Memorial Mass with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Holy Name Church with Father Glenn Whewell officiating. A Reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
