Suzanne Knepper, 99 year old long time Buffalo resident passed away Sunday morning at her home in Sheridan. ​Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 27th at 11:00 a.m. from the Union Congregational Church in Buffalo with Reverend Bill Knepper officiating. Visitation will be held from the Harness Funeral Home Chapel on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Interment will be in Willow Grove Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral.

Suzanne Knepper was born on January 18, 1917 in Cambridge City, Indiana to Stanley and Nettie Guyton, the last child of eight. She married George Knepper on May 3, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio and worked for the US Army Command in Chicago during the years of WWII.

Suzanne moved to Buffalo near the end of WWII and fell in love with her new hometown. She was a member of the Union Congregational Church and active in P.E.O., Chapter J of Buffalo. Suzanne also served as Chair of the Wyoming State Library Board and many other civic capacities.

Suzanne is survived by; three sons, Dr. John Knepper and his wife Helen of Sheridan, Wyoming, Reverend Bill Knepper and his wife Sue of Centralia, Washington, and Dan Knepper and his wife Debbie of Lewistown, Montana; one daughter Pam James and her husband Ben of Fort Collins, Colorado;  eleven grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George, by her parents and by all seven of her siblings.
