Wyoming’s unemployment rate remained unchanged from the previous month, staying at 4% in August.

A year ago, the state’s unemployment rate was 5.2%.

Johnson County’s unemployment rate fell to 3.0%, down from 3.4% in July.

Sheridan’s rate also fell slightly to 3.0% down a full half of a percent from the previous month.

The highest unemployment for the state was found in Fremont County, 4.7% and the lowest rate was once again Teton County at 1.6%.
